NXDEM 2010 Snow Camp

Come and join us as we head to PA for the NXDEM 2010 SNOW CAMP. During the weekend of January 29-31 we will be enjoying a fun filled weekend of games, fellowship, food, and hopefully a little snow too. This camp retreat is open to all students ages 13-18 or students in 7th-12th grade. Cost is $130.00 per person. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is due ASAP to hold your spot. We have a limited number of spots available for the weekend so sign up soon and get your spot.

Gift Wrapping Fundraiser Canceled

Due to the incoming weather the Gift Wrapping Fundraiser scheduled for the 19th is canceled.

Ice Skating in DC

NXDEM Youth is heading to DC on Jan. 9th for our first event of 2010! Join us as we enjoy a night of fun, skating, falling, getting back only to fall again, hot cocoa, falling, and again trying to get back up! Cost is $10 each.

FUNDRAISER ALERT!!!

Camp will be here soon enough and as we plan for our next summers youth camp we have to plan our fundraisers. Here is our first one. On Saturday, Dec. 19th during the Saturday Night service we will be wrapping the gifts of anyone / who bring and drop off their holiday presents for wrapping. We will be accepting do
nations only and the initial cost for the work is free. If you show up and help in this fundraiser you will earn credit towards your payment needed for camp this summer. It costs nothing to help and pays off in big ways. Some kids were able to go to camp with no cost out of pocket because of these fundraisers, take advantage now! You'll be able to enjoy friends, cookies, and Christmas music as we wrap and laugh during this holiday season.

Friday Night Christmas Play

Come with us on Friday (12/11) as we go and support our teen actors in this years Christmas Play "Another Christmas Carol". This will take the place of our regular Friday Night meeting time.

Ugly Sweater Christmas Party and Potluck Dinner

Remember that Christmas sweater you bought your mom or dad when you were 6 yrs old? Do they still have it? If they do wear it on Dec. 5th to our UGLY SWEATER Christmas Party at the Warehouse from 6 to 9 PM. We'll have food, games, music, gifts, and a prize for the ugliest Christmas sweater. Along with your parents sweater bring a gift to trade in a 'white elephant' gift exchange. This gift should be under $5 if you buy it or a gift from your home that you no longer use or never did use. This is a not a broken or useless thing but rather something that you find someone else might enjoy or could be a good laugh. Examples would be, an old but working DVD, a game that you no longer play but is complete with all pieces, a pack of Pokemon cards, are all just examples of good gifts. Hope to see you there.
